With studies in product design at Rome’s Università La Sapienza along with further studies in Interior Design, Joy began her working career immediately at the top of the sector. Her work experience ranged from Interior Design, Design Gallery Management as well as sourcing bespoke design pieces through remarkably skilled artisans worldwide. She is co-founder of The Great Design Disaster, a company specializing in aligning clients with artists to create original pieces. Her collaboration with world-renowned designers and artists, accelerated a non-stop deep dive into the world of art and design, bringing her to major fairs and galleries throughout the world, as well as into contact with the most talented artisans on the planet.
